Facade is the face of a building, especially the front view or elevation. We undertake cleaning of facades made of glass and aluminium composite panels (ACP) sheets.
Why is it necessary to clean the façade of a building?
Weathering, dust, smoke and dirt accumulated on the façade, particularly in cities, can change the original colour of the façade. Dirty run-off marks and stains are common sights that are far from pretty depreciating the value of the property.
Second, the dust, dirt, mold and air pollution acting on the facade can cause chemical reaction that ultimately weakens the materials used on the façade.
To avoid the scenarios mentioned above, it is recommended to have building’s exterior cleaned once or twice a year.
How we clean
- In the case of smooth surfaces, use sponge or micro fiber cloth to remove the dirt.
- In the cases of buildings which are not very tall, we use specifically made long sticks with sponge at the end.
- Using a slow, steady flow of water to soak dirt and then removing the dirt using different types of brushes, combined with water.
- Chemical products mostly, from Unger, are used to break up and dissolve the dirt and dust particles.
